The Nevada County Public Health Department provides a Suicide Prevention Education Program to support community understanding, reduce risk factors for self-harm, and strengthen protective factors.

Program details include:

• Community outreach and education about suicide prevention
• Coordination of the Suicide Prevention Task Force in Western Nevada County
• Participation in the Tahoe-Truckee Suicide Prevention Coalition
• Access to suicide prevention resources and local training opportunities
